Who We Are

Tshulu Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation located in HaMakuya in northern Limpopo province
in South Africa, which aims to alleviate poverty and enhance local economic development by assisting the
community to utilise their natural and cultural resources sustainably - Dr Lara Allen, Tshulu Trust Co-Founder

Arts Community Engagement

Bringing together local musicians and schools to utilise, showcase, and practice cultural forms of music, dance, and art.

Homestay Programme

Accompanied by guides who translate and facilitate, visitors are invited to take part in the ordinary tasks of everyday life in rural Venda.

Collaborative Research Network

A trans-disciplinary research and education program that contributes to the sustainability and resilience of the greater Kruger National Park social-ecological system.
